Dr. Michael Kolin

Dr. Michael Kolin has practiced chiropractic throughout New York City since the year 2000.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Dr. Kolin went on to Life University, where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic.  He then combined his knowledge of chiropractic with his love and passion for sports to found multiple Chiropractic and rehabilitation centers in New York and New Jersey.  He later Co-Founded NYC Chiropractic, LLC, which has become New York City’s premier Chiropractic and wellness center by providing a central source for varied physical rehabilitation needs.  NYC Chiropractic, LLC brings together New York’s premier doctors of Chiropractic, allowing each patient individualized and specific rehabilitation programs.

Dr. Kolin currently lives in Manhasset, New York with his wife Allison and two boys, Ryan and Daniel. He coaches his boys soccer, golf, tennis as well as, participating in triathlons.  He is also a co-founder of the non-profit Section 16h Group, which has grown from a few New York Giants fans “tailgating for a cause” to a remarkable tailgate experience that raises thousands of dollars every year for charity. He is actively involved coaching his sons baseball, soccer, lacrosse team, and enjoys tennis, golf, skiing and competes in triathlons.

Dr. James Adams Jr.

Dr. James Adams, Jr. is a chiropractor who focuses his energy on individuals suffering from poor biomechanics, postural abnormalities, and soft tissue/ connective tissue disorders.

Prior to joining forces with Manhattan Sports Medicine, Dr. Adams completed his studies at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls with additional clinical work in Long Island.  Dr. Adams additionally collaborated with NSPC Neurology Group in Rockville Centre, New York, performing additional clinical work in rotations at Farmingdale V.A. Clinic and SUNY Stony Brook.  Dr. Adams is licensed in the state of New York and has successfully completed Parts 1-4 of the NBCE board exams and Physiotherapy.

As a specialist in the neuromusculoskeletal system, Dr. Adams offers a unique diagnostic experience to ensure patients the best noninvasive procedures possible.  Continued educational programs and a diverse background have yielded unparalleled results; his patients know him for his effective communication skills and a positive spirit able to pull anyone through tough times.

Dr. Adams has had the distinct privilege to work with patients from many backgrounds on an array of musculoskeletal disorders.  For example, he has simultaneously orchestrated recovery for elite athletes and addressed simple postural abnormalities contributing to office employees’ dreaded  “Desk Workers’ Syndrome”.  Dr. Adams works especially often with competitive and long distance runners, yet regardless of patients’ athletic skill or health knowledge, he aspires to educate and help them set achievable goals.

Dr. Adams’s favorite pastimes include motocross, surfing, snowboarding, running and rock climbing.  He recently completed the Chicago marathon and is anticipating many great New York City marathons to come.

Dr. Alex Ezra

Dr. Alex Ezra is a New York board certified chiropractor, earning his chiropractic degree from Life University, where he graduated cum laude. Prior to attending Life University, Dr. Ezra attended the University of Vermont where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Dr. Ezra has years of experience working in a multi-disciplinary sports medicine/chiropractic setting and specializes in diagnosing and treating spinal and musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Ezra is dedicated to helping his patients live physically dynamic and pain-free lives and does so by preparing individualized treatment plans focused on patients’ goals. He has treated patients of all backgrounds: from college and professional athletes (NFL, MMA/BJJ, track & field) to professional dancers (NYC Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Martha Graham Dance Company) to marathon runners, weekend warriors, and desk workers. Some of the manual treatment techniques Dr. Ezra utilizes are spinal manipulation (spinal adjustments); extremity adjustments; Active Release Technique (ART); Graston (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization/IASTM); and Flexion-Distraction (manual spinal disc decompression).

Dr. Ezra’s treatment plans are designed to ensure his patients’ long-term health, performance, and durability by working with them on therapeutic exercise, injury rehabilitation, and strengthening/mobility work, as well as the use of various modalities (non-surgical spinal decompression/electric muscle stimulation/ultrasound/RockTape).

Dr. Xavier Ferland-Haroun

Dr. Xavier Ferland-Haroun is an alumni of Northeast College of Health Sciences, where he received his doctoral degree in Chiropractic Medicine. He attended the University of Rhode Island where he received his Bachelors degree in exercise science and kinesiology. He attended URI on a full football scholarship. A competent chiropractor, Dr. Ferland-Haroun is excited to bring his knowledge to 7th Ave. Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

He caters to the residents of New York, NY, and manages a wide array of patient concerns, including back pain, joint pain, wrist pain, and sports injuries. He encourages personal responsibility in healthcare which includes attention to health maintenance as well as interactive decision making during times of illness. Dr. Ferland-Haroun is enthusiastic and detail-oriented in conducting patients’ need assessments, as well as in providing accurate results and recommendations for the development of appropriate patient treatment. He understands their needs and treats every person with the compassion, respect, and attention they deserve.

Dr. Isaac Gee

Dr. Isaac Gee received his bachelor’s degree from Adelphi university in Exercise Science and completed his doctoral degree in Chiropractic at Northeast College of Health Sciences. Dr. Gee believes in empowering patients to take full control of their own health through interactive assessment, education and treatment.

Dr. Gee is passionate and knowledgeable in chiropractic techniques and rehabilitation exercises. He is well versed in functional movement/exercises through his certification in Functional Range Conditioning. He has spent several years assisting physical therapists in rehabilitation therapies and exercise prior to finishing his doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Gee is skilled in managing back pain, joint pain and various soft tissue injuries. He is excited to bring his expertise to 7th Avenue Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in order to cater to the residence of New York City.

Dr. Keith West

Dr. Keith West grew up in upstate New York where he enjoyed a lifetime of competitive sports; focusing primarily on soccer, tennis and cycling. Athletics taught him the virtues of hard work and perseverance, attributes which he carries over into his professional career. Dr. West graduated as valedictorian from Owego Free Academy, and went on to further his education at Cornell University where he received his Bachelors degree in biological sciences.

Following a year of travelling and teching in Spain and Colombia, Dr. West continued his educational journey at New York Chiropractic College where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors and completed a year long internship at the Miami VA Medical Center. Dr. West follows an evidence-based approach to health care in order to provide his patients with proven treatment protocols. Techniques employed include, hands on adjustments, Cox Flexion and Distraction, decompression therapy, and Active Release.

Dr. West also recognizes the importance of proper muscular balance and incorporates functional rehabilitation exercises into his treatment plans when appropriate. Dr. West works within a multidisciplinary group that includes orthopedists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, physiatrists, podiatrists and massage therapists to provide the most effective treatment and the relief you need.

Dr. Chanho Han

Dr. Chanho Han is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner specializing in chiropractic care. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Dr. Han designs personalized treatment plans to address a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal issues. He is committed to educating patients about their health conditions and promoting both short and long-term preventative care measures. Originally from Long Island, Dr. Han earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences in Upstate NY, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.

Dr. Han’s expertise encompasses the treatment of various conditions, including neck pain, headaches, postural problems, low back pain, sciatica, slipped discs, herniations, joint pain, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. His techniques include diversified chiropractic adjustments, Cox Flexion & Distraction, myofascial release (both active and passive), instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and cupping, KT taping, and tailored functional exercise programs.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Han finds joy in basketball, strength training, and exploring culinary delights across the five boroughs. Actively engaged in his church community in Queens, he is dedicated to serving others. Dr. Han’s mission is to offer the most current and comprehensive care to his patients, enabling them to resume their cherished activities while prioritizing their individual needs.
